All rates and engagements are confirmed in engagement letters signed by the firm and the client prior to beginning any project.

Priola Law uses a value-based billing model with two primary structures:

Monthly Retainers

For clients who want regular access to ongoing legal support. Retainers provide predictable pricing and a defined scope of work each month. Retainers are billed and paid in advance and are earned upon receipt. Each retainer tier includes categories of work matched to the client’s needs and the expected level of activity.

Fixed-Fee Projects

For defined projects with clear deliverables and timelines. Fixed-fee pricing provides clarity at the start of the project and keeps the focus on the work rather than time spent.

Hourly billing is being phased out in 2026. This change provides transparency, clearer scope and pricing that better fits how clients plan and operate.

USE OF AI TOOLS

Priola Law uses secure, business-grade AI tools to support internal drafting, organization and workflow. These tools help improve efficiency, but they do not replace attorney judgment. All work is reviewed and approved by an attorney before it is delivered to a client.

We do not place confidential or privileged information into systems that do not meet strict privacy and security requirements. Clients may opt out of AI-assisted internal workflow at any time.
